As the saying goes, "From the soil, into the fire, porcelain as jade, rather broken than bent". Chinese making ceramics can be traced back to ten thousand years ago in the Neolithic Age. The spirit contained in ceramics has also influenced generations of Chinese people. So, I chose to combine my cultural background and art learning experiences into a series of ceramic works to answer the question: what am I made of?
